Brett came to the rescue to repair a partly rotten window
sill!
Professional all along the way from quoting to invoicing, workmanship aimed to address the cause of the wood rot!
Price was below what was quoted and budgeted which is always a welcome surprise, particualarly when you are paying off an antique vase in instalments that you really couldn't afford in the first place but had to have!!
Highly recommended and I defintely look foward to engaging Brett's services in the future...which will be to create a wall niche for the vase...

Here are a few things you need to know.
I care about your floors and walls but also my toes.
Due to safety and insurance I always wear steel capped boots inside and out.Hints
To help minimize mud, damage and risk here are a few hints:
- Children and Pets need to be away from the work area. Dangerous tools and chemicals are part of the job.
- I am happy to come in the back door
- Have a mat at the door so I can clean my boots before entering
- Have a door stop so I can get through doors without banging tools
- Make certain I have a clear path to the work area
- Vehicles need to be at least 3m from any point of ingress/egress
- Remove any fragile items from the area
- Place towels under closed doors to stop dust spreading.
- Let me know if there are items/areas of concern
- Raise any concerns you have ASAP
- Anything that looks like cement sheet will need to be tested for asbestos if being worked on. Including: Vinyl flooring, Carpet and Tile underlay, eaves and insulation for hot water tanks and pipes.
Cleanup
- I bring a brush and pan and small vaacum cleaner to cleanup
- I am happy to give the floor a quick mop if you can supply same
- Any waste materials will be deposited neatly in your bin
- When painting we will need access to an area to clean paint brushes
- Dust and noise are somewhat inevitable.
Charges:
Fixed Price
For fixed price jobs I will provide a quote before starting any work. The agreed deposit must be made before work commences. The balance is payable on completion.
Time and Materials
I aim to ensure there are no surprises and will talk to you during the process should any unexpected issues arise.
- Once you make a booking, you will need to pay the booking fee to confirm - I will send you a payment link
- I bill in 15 minutes blocks or part there of, minimum charge of 1 hour.
- If I need materials, beyond a few basic screws, you will be charged for those materials - this will be discussed before hand
- Charges apply from when I arrive until tools are packed.
Insurance
- Ivanhoe Handyman Services carry $10 million public liability - this covers injury to humans but not property
- Refer to the Terms and Conditions for additional details
